Born in the Kalos region, Calcio had a bit of a rough childhood. His mother wasn't around much due to her being a Pokémon trainer and his father was obsessed with the knights that once roamed all over the region. . .Calcio was stuck day in and day out, training his body and mind, building himself up to be a powerful force to be reckoned with. However, when Calcio was finally of age, he took off from his outright abusive father and began to travel as a Pokémon trainer. Yet, it seemed no matter how far from home he got. . .his training took presedence and the bond between he and his Pokémon had weakened to the point that it ran off to be on it's own. Alone with no one to actually call friend or family, Calcio left Kalos and travelled off to a rumored new region, the region of Khepri, in an attempt to start fresh. . .at this point, he was only 18. With not much of an option, Calcio joined the Khepri military where he quickly soar through the ranks, becoming a lieutenant. By the age of 33, everyone in Khepri knew of Calcio and his terrifying strength and kind heart. After the military, Calcio was gifted his issued Machoke, of course, the trade off turned it into a Machamp. It was from that point on, Calcio wanted to strengthen his bond between himself and his Pokémon. He took on the league, fell in love, had a child and soon retired from his life as a trainer.

It was about a year ago when Calcio was requested to take over as the fighting type Elite Four. . . Which he had initially declined, after all, he had his journey. However, he soon changed his mind when he figured, he could continue to pass on his knowledge and strength to all of the youthful trainers that came his way. Now, he is looking for the true successor to take over his position. . .Maybe he's looking for YOU?
